Swimming Basic Techniques
For beginners, we must first learn what the basics of swimming are. These swimming basics are needed before we learn another swimming style.
Breathe
This breathing exercise becomes important when we are swimming. This exercise is done to facilitate the process of taking air above the surface of the water and expelling air in the water.
Breathing when swimming is not something that is easy, but it is important. You can improve breathing exercises by regulating breathing rhythms. So, when breathing in the air is done quickly and when the air is released it can be slowed down.
Float
When we exercise in water, what needs to be mastered is how to float. Floating is what will become our capital to be able to swim well. We need to learn so that the body can continue to float on the surface. This float can be divided into three positions, upright, supine, and prone.
Glide
After you can float, so you can move in the water, you also need to learn to glide first. Gliding is a prefix that we do before driving while swimming. This position when sliding will determine how far and fast you can drive on the water.
A good gliding position is to stand upright and both hands pressed straight up. Then bend your body forward and your chest is above the surface of the water. Then reject one foot on the pool wall with a strong beat. You must keep the position of the hand straight and the hands touch the ears. Repeat and continue the gliding exercise from inside the pool until you get used to it.
After all is noticed, the last thing you can do is study the swimming styles. Each style will have a difference in movement. Well, before learning style, you must have mastered the basic techniques in swimming.
